This is a common practice for many buyers traveling around China for business, but it is also a smart decision to hire one if you have been only communicating by email.
5 - Ask their IM contact
The primary method to communicate with a supplier in China is email, since you can keep record of everything you have discussed. However, to improve communication and save time, it is also recommended to ask for an Yahoo Messenger or Skype ID, therefore you can discuss all your order details in an effective way.

Exports of Christmas Ornaments are Rising But Far From Expectation
At 118th Canton Fair, buyers from emerging markets are continuously
increasing with the policy “The Belt and Road” that creates closer ties
between China and emerging markets. This year, Middle East traders are
also active in doing business in Canton Fair, with 353 Middle East
exhibitors displaying products and accounting for 58% of foreign
exhibitors in international pavilions .
Lighting equipment exhibitors display a series of fascinating Christmas lightings as Christmas is around the corner.
“This year, we receive more orders compared to the same time of last year. Many Christmas Ornaments Suppliers are hitting the ground running since August,” an exhibitor from Lian Yungang, Jiangsu province revealed.
Another exhibitor from Yi wu, Zhejiang, disclosed, “As global economy is recovering gradually, the exports of Christmas ornaments have slightly increased. But demand is still far from expectation.”
Yi wu is the biggest distribution center of Christmas ornaments where 2/3 of Christmas ornaments used in the world are from. Every year from March to September is the high season of exports. Usually, foreign buyers place orders since March and local enterprise enter the busy time of manufacturing and selling.
